Looking for a car seat inspection? Need a CPR certification? Have a child who wants to start babysitting?
Beginning in September, the Manhattan Fire Protection District will now offer the following programs.
Car seat Inspections
Every Tuesday from 9 am – 12 PM: Car seat inspections will be done by appointment only; no drop-ins will be taken.
Hybrid CPR Practical’s
3rd Wednesday of the month from 9 AM -2 PM: After completing an American Heart Association CPR course online, students will need to print the certificate of completion and schedule a hands-on CPR practical with an instructor. More information on hybrid classes can be found on our website.
Heartsaver CPR & BLS CPR
3rd Saturday of the month from 9 AM – 12 PM: Heartsaver will be offered on odd months and BLS will be offered on even months. A minimum of 5 people will be required to host a class and the course fee is non-refundable.
Safesitter
Offered once in the fall, winter, and spring: Upcoming Safesitter courses for the 2023-2024 school year will take place on November 20th, February 19th, and June 10th. Classes are from 9 AM – 3 PM. More information can be found on our website. A minimum of 5 people will be required to host a class and the course fee is non-refundable.
